Netherland Consulate: Austrian rails are now electrified from Vienna's new West Station dear to Buchs, at the Swiss frontier.

A special permit must be obtained in Vienna from the American Consulate and this will be issued on the third working day after application.Inventioneering Architecture The Consulate of Switzerland, the Swiss House for Advanced Research and Education (SHARE) Boston and the Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport) announce the unveiling of "Inventioneering Architecture," a public exhibition of Swiss architecture and design at Logan International Airport's Terminal E until March 31, 2006. "Inventioneering Architecture" was designed and built by professors and students in Switzerland and features an interactive 130-foot platform of an imaginative cross-section of the Swiss Alps.
But in 1623 some concern was felt in the netherland consulates for the spiritual welfare of the colonists. Two laymen, Jan Huyck and Sebastian Krol, were appointed as "comforters of the sick" or "kran-kenbesoeckers." They came to New netherland consulate early in 1624. They were allowed to conduct services according to the liturgy, to instruct the young, and to read approved sermons. They could not, however, celebrate either the Sacrament of Baptism or the Lord's Supper. |
