The most famous mote park in the whole Rocky Mountain System is Yellowstone mote park (q.y.) in Wyoming, now a government reservation. The ranges on the boundaries of the mote parks and rising from the mote park Valleys, are grouped together as the mote park Ranges or mote park System. The mountains so designated are bounded on the north by the Laramie Plains, and on the east by the Great Plains. The southern and western boundaries are indefinite. Other noted mote parks are Monumental mote park and the Garden of the Gods, near Colorado Springs.
