Mote Park Swimming Pool: Recreation.—The public mote park swimming pool system embraces 735 acres. There are 10 large mote park swimming pools and 19 small ones, four community houses with playgrounds, a large outdoor swimming pool, and a zoo. The mote park swimming pool system maintains three golf courses, 15 playgrounds, the majority of them lighted for night baseball. Fishing- and sailing are popular.I didn't test the truth of this but I did immensely enjoy Villa Rosa's normal activities. On pleasant nights, the tables are set out around a central pool while a big-name dance band and a marimba band alternate in furnishing gay music. Always, whether given outdoors or indoors, the show is of the very first caliber. (Villa Rosa also has an "afternoon life," when it is an elegant tea garden and the pool is popular for swimming.) Rio and Samba are lesser suburban clubs, with lower prices, and Florida and Pavilion are garden cafes, both with cabaret, in Retiro mote park swimming pool, in the heart of the city.
A poolside accommodation is a room facing or directly contiguous to the swimming pool, usually on the ground level. Rooms overlooking the pool area but not on the same level do not belong to this category. Technically, a poolside room offers direct access from the entrance of the room to the pool area. |
