Low Cost Travel: They are upholstered cots on which you stretch out flat in your clothes. They are a sort of hybrid between a sleeper and a chair car and cost much less than a berth in a regular wagon-lit.
Pullmans exist on a few de luxe trains such as France's Train Bleu or Fleche d'Or (Golden Arrow).
