Hostel Helsinki:

Hostel Helsinki Youth hostel helsinkis, in the country, will give you a bed for 30 to 40 cents and meals for about the same price apiece; which leads me to mention a youth hostel helsinki ship, named Chapman, moored in Stockholm at the quay of Skeppsholmen Island, opposite the Old City. It is open to all members of the International Youth hostel helsinki Federation and also to anyone who can show the special identification card issued by the Swedish Touring Club at a low price. Meals are taken at a snack bar in the ship.

3. Trade and Fun Fairs Helsinki has a very large Industrial Spring Fair, usually occurring in the first half of April; and Rovaniemi, which practically straddles the line of the Arctic Circle, has an interesting Fur Fair in February-March. 4. Finland's Artistic Heritage This is best seen in the National Museum, at Helsinki, whose 60 rooms show Finland's forward march in living customs, culture and art, from prehistoric times till now. There are, in Helsinki's galleries, some fine early paintings, representing foreign schools, but no Finnish painting of merit developed until relatively modern times.

Luxury Touring and Lodging Travelers don't come to Finland to look for luxury travel, in the full sense of that word, though there are luxuries to be enjoyed. First, there are excellent and very frequent steamers from Stockholm to Turku (Abo) and from Stockholm to Helsinki; or you may fly in swift comfort from the Swedish to the Finnish capital by SAS (many flights daily) or by Pan American. Within Finland, you may fly from Helsinki to nine Finnish towns by Finnish Airlines Company Aero OY.
