France Presse: Alfred Eisenstaedt covered the Ethiopian war. Of the picture editors, Stefan Lorant of the Munchner lllustrierte Presse appears to be the most effective, along with Karl Korff and Kurt Safranski of the Berliner lllustrirte. There was a friendly relation between photographer and editor. An idea would be presented by one of them and discussed in a general way. The photographer not only felt free to cover the situation as he thought appropriate, he was expected to do so. Upon delivery of the prints the editor took over. The leaders in this new movement were the established Berliner lllustrirte Zeitung ("Berlin Illustrated Newspaper"), founded in 1890; the Munchner lllus-trierte Presse ("Munich Illustrated Press"), founded in 1923; and AIZ, or Arbeiter lllustrierte Zeitung ("Workers' Illustrated Newspaper"), founded in 1921.
parce que je suis francais(e) because I am French parce que je suis ne(e) en france presse because I was born in france presse parce qu'on est ne en france presse because you are born in france presse These responses offered by many French children give further indication of a kind of unconditional approach to loving one's country. It is enough to be born there to love the place, just as one does not choose to love one's parents; they are your parents and you love them because of that fact. Some also applied this principle to their town as a part of france presse: parce que je suis Marseillais et que je suis ne a Marseille because I am Marseillais and I was bom in Marseilles |
