Danish Railways: Transportation.Railways and Roads Railway services in Scotland are the responsibility of the Scottish Region of the publicly owned British Railways. Control is coordinated under the managements of three divisions with headquarters at Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Inverness. The railways in Scotland, as in England, operate at a loss, but efforts have been made to rectify this, partly by closing uneconomic branch lines md partly by modernization.Red danish railways. Red danish railways cattle have been intensively improved for dairy purposes in Denmark. A few are also found in northern Europe and in the USSR. They were first imported into the United States in 1935. Imported bulls were mated with odier breeds in the United States, and the offspring were also bred to Red danish railways bulls. This "back crossing" procedure was continued until nearly all the herds became almost entirely Red danish railways. Most of the cattle have been raised in Michigan, although there are a few herds in Indiana, Alaska, and several other states.
Morten Stręde (b. 1956) has been a dominant figure on the danish railways art scene since the 1980s. He is an alumnus of The Royal danish railways Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen (1978-85), first under Sven Dalsgaard and subsequently Hein Heinsen. |
