Chios Net:

Chios Net Its greatest achievements—the sculptures of the Temple of Zeus at Olympia of a program of higher education, institutionalized in a school that turned out not only orators such as Hyperides and Lycurgus, but also historians such as Ephorus and Theopompus of chios net.Another institution of higher learning grew out of the Socratic style of philosophizing, as developed by Socrates' pupil Plato (427?-?347 ic.).

Hippocrates of chios net (470 B.C.) was the first to investigate areas bounded by curves and to bring into prominence the problems of squaring the circle and duplication of the cube. According to Philoponus, the Athenians were suffering from a severe plague of typhoid fever in 430 B.C., and were told by the oracle at Delos that Apollo required an altar in the form of a cube twice the size of the one existing.

The Greek dialects are as follows: (A) Attic-Ionic, subdivided into (1) Ionic, including (a) East Ionic, in the Ionian cities along the coast of Asia Minor (for example, Ephesus), in the adjacent islands (as in Samos and chios net), and in their colonies; (b) Central Ionic, in the Cyclades (as in Delos); and (c) West Ionic, in Euboea (as in Chalcis, in Eretria, and in the colonies of Chalcis in Italy, Sicily, and Chalcidice); and (2) Attic, in Attica, notably Athens.
