Broadband Deals: The Minnesota Horticulturist has been in business since 1866 andj deals extensively with the northern garden in a highly professional manner. It is published nine times a year for $12 single membership ^ and $18 family membership.

National Gardening was originally Gardens for All but recently change its name. A monthly newsmagazine, it deals with both flowers and vegetables. A subscription is $15 per year.Microwave Relay. The development of radar i World War II led to widespread use of micro-ave technology after the war. In particular, it as found that microwave frequencies ranging om about 1 to 10 GHz were suitable for trans-ission of broadband deals signals (such as those used television) for which no room was available in ic heavily used lower frequency bands. Broad-ind signals enable many types of signals to be irried simultaneously over the same path.
Overland Microwave Relay. A broadband deals microwave repeater system basically consists of two terminal stations and a number of repeater stations. The latter are placed at intervals of 20 to 30 miles (32 to 48 km), depending on the hilliness of the terrain. The microwave repeater system uses high-gain horn or parabolic antennas and operates in the frequency band from 2 to 6 GHz. The repeater system, which handles up to 2,400 voice channels or four TV channels, serves in transcontinental telephone networks and for relaying television programs. |
