This book doesn't have all the boating information you might need—if it tried to deliver that, it would fill a bookshelf. For the nuggets of wisdom that are not included with-!in these covers, you can turn to the organizations, publications, and other sources of information listed in this chapter. These include the American Association of School Photographers, Society of Cinema Photographers, Association of Architectural Photographers, Evidence Photographers International Council, and many others. The Tourist Association puts out beautifully mapped booklets in English called Cycling in Germany, Canoeing and Boating in Germany and Camping in Germany, procurable gratis from the head office or from any of the offices in America. I must say a further word about canoeing, rowboating and sailboat-ing, for these are major sports throughout Germany. On Berlin's lake chain I have seen what must have been several thousand little holiday craft on summer Sundays. |
